ABOUT IT & MEDIA
Since the start of ANKAA's operations, we regularly offered classes and workshops in our IT & Media Department.
Since the turn on the 21st century, technology in its different shapes and forms has become the bedrock of our society.
According to UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi, "by helping refugees maintain social networks and access information and essential services, mobile phones and internet access are as critical to refugees' safety and security as are food, shelter and water."
In ANKAA, we offer computer classes for different levels. Besides, students can familiarise themselves with the basics of computer hardware and/or participate in phone repair workshops
Regularly, we offer documentary filmmaking workshops as well as photography classes, where students can practice the use of a camera.
Furthermore, students and staff can have access and use computers outside of the classes.
