At ANKAA we have different programs aimed at education, vocational training, employability support, skills exchange and open workspaces.

Unlocking Opportunities through Education
At ANKAA, our mission is clear: to strengthen the unemployed community in Athens, Greece. We recognise the challenges faced by vulnerable communities, including asylum-seekers, refugees, migrants, and individuals seeking employment. Our educational programs are designed to make a meaningful impact by providing essential skills and support.

Our Goals:
-
Language Proficiency: We offer language classes and workshops in Greek to foster effective communication and integration.
-
Crafting Careers: Our Crafting Careers Program for tailoring equips individuals with vocational skills, enabling them to pursue sustainable livelihoods.
-
Employability Support: We provide guidance and resources with partner organisations to enhance employability, helping participants navigate the job market with confidence.
-
Sustainable Skills: Workshops on upcycling and handicrafts not only promote creativity but also instil eco-conscious practices, contributing to a sustainable future.

Aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
-
SDG 4 - Quality Education: Our language classes and vocational training contribute to ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education for all.
-
SDG 8 - Decent Work and Economic Growth: ANKAA's programs aim to foster economic growth by enhancing employability and creating sustainable career pathways.
-
SDG 10 - Reduced Inequalities: We address inequality by providing resources and opportunities to vulnerable communities, helping them overcome disadvantages.
Together, we believe in creating a brighter future where every individual has the chance to thrive.
