POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a full-time dynamic Fundraising & Grants Manager to lead our efforts in securing funds to support ANKAA's mission and programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies, managing relationships with donors and partners, and ensuring the financial sustainability of our organisation. You will be an active member of the Management Team of the organisation, together with the Project Manager and the Program & Production Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

Adapt and implement a strategic fundraising plan aligned with organisational goals.

Research, identify and secure potential funding sources, including grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual donations.

Write compelling grant proposals and applications, ensuring compliance with deadlines and requirements.

Manage relationships with donors, sponsors, and funding partners to cultivate ongoing support.

Plan and execute fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives to meet financial targets.

Maintain accurate records of fundraising activities and donor communications.

Lead on impact measurement

Prepare financial reports and analyses in collaboration with the Finance team to measure fundraising progress and performance.

Lead budget forecasting and track income and expenses to ensure compliance with internal and funder requirements
ANKAA staff is expected to be flexible and to take on additional duties as assigned, according to the organisation’s needs and the staff member’s skills and abilities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Passionate about and committed to ANKAA Project’s mission, vision and values

Minimum of 3-year experience in fundraising, grant writing, and donor relationship management

Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organisational and project management abilities

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Experience with donor management software and CRM systems

Demonstrated success in securing major gifts and grants

Experience with reporting

Knowledge of ethical standards and best practices in fundraising

Bilingual in English and Greek
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Speaking French

Experience with Airtable

Experience with diversified fundraising donor portfolios (individuals, organisations, public institutions, etc.)
